1.4.2 Bug Errors (Does anyone still help?)

Postby SpiderWebb » 02/21/2012 8:55 am

When running ricipical link check...
Warning: preg_match() [function.preg-match]: Unknown modifier '/' in /home/XXXX/public_html/admin/links.php on line 303

GooglePR...
Does not work... all sites stay at PR 0.

Does anyone still offer help with this script??? I'd love to get this going. Thanks.

I still help when possible!

Please post what your reciprocal link regular expression looks like.

I will run some tests to see what may be happening with the GooglePR update function.

In your admin area, under settings for Spider; there should be something for Regular Expression for recip links.

<a(.*)href="http://(.*)spiderwebbservices.com(.*)>(.*)</a>

I also tried by clicking "Links" and "Check Recip".

Hello. I have created what I believe to be a fix for the regx error as well as the issue with pagerank querying.

If you do not mind, please test by unzipping the attached zip file and overwriting the files in your admin folder with the files in this zip.

Please let me know if this appears to fix your issue and I will include it in a bugfix update for the project.

Thanks!

I will try and find some time tomorrow to sit down and run through a test on my install to see what is going on.

Thanks for your patience.

Hey no problem, I'm still setting up a bunch of other things on the site and then will of course spend a lot of time adding in many many links before it goes completely live. I really appreciate the help... I hope we can figure it out.

Thank you!

Try this fix. It worked for me... Overwrite the files in your admin folder with these.

Let me know if it works!

Try changing your regex in the configuration to this:

Code: Select all
<a(.*)href="http:\/\/(.*)spiderwebbservices.com(.*)>(.*)<\/a>
